Name: Diethylene glycol (DEG) CAS-number: 111-46-6 Chemical formula: \(\ mathrm{C_4H _{10}O_3}\) Appearance: Colorless transparent viscous hygroscopic liquid with a faint sweet odor. Solubility: Completely miscible with water, alcohols, ketones; limitedly soluble in hydrocarbons.
